Texas Governor Announces FEMA Housing Aid Extension
Governor Rick Perry announced on January 22, 2007 that FEMA is extending housing aid by six more months for the many people who are still displaced from hurricanes Katrina and Rita. The previous deadline was scheduled for the end of February.
